After yet another fitful night of sleep I was ready to spend today curled up on the couch. Instead I did some work and decided to go get groceries. When you try to eat fresh you have to buy food more often. I do NOT like this concept, but my body does. Who knew?
Just as I got home from the store I was talking to Clint when my sister called. Now this had to be an emergency as she never calls me. We are texting people. Turns out someone had dropped a vase in their kitchen at work. My clumsy and always rushing sister slipped on the water and landed on the glass. She has a nasty gash on her knee and heel. My mom and I helped out by retrieving her car from downtown and bringing the much needed diaper bag to the hospital. By the time I got her car home she was happy and playing with her baby, all stitched up and thinking she'll be able to walk tomorrow. Oh how wrong she is, I'm sure I'll be over there tomorrow helping her out, or at the least watching crappy TV.
Tonight brought the premiere of the new Dallas. I am a huge fan of the original but this new one, well it was good. At least I think so! Lots of twists and turns in just 2 episodes and the old JR is still JR. And the new John Ross, well dang if he isn't yummy. I hope they have lots of pool scenes like the old series did. Those boys need to be much much more topless. The best part is all the shots of Southfork. When I worked in Dallas in 2009 mom and I toured the actual ranch in Plano. It's just so cool, and really looks like it does on TV. Well except the inside, a family does own and live there so it's set to their tastes, the show is actually all sets. I hope it premiered well because I need to know what happens. Hooked aptly describes this viewer.
