Auntie Day

Chels and I had the best day.  I picked her up from daycare this morning and she totally recognized me.  My heart melted!  The twins were much older before that happened.  Then we had lunch with my sis downtown and I got to see Target HQ.  What a great modern workspace.  Makes me realize how antiquated my company is on a lot of things.  We had a delish lunch at the Newsroom and then Chels and I went home.  I had stopped about halfway home to get a coffee and thought I could hear her, but didn't pay much attention.  It was only 25 more min, or it was until we had to stop for the lift bridge.  I turned the radio down and heard her kicking.  I moved her toy and blankie as she had twisted her legs all around.  Then the raspberries began, she was going to town blowing them.  I was dying laughing, which makes her laugh, or do her fake laugh.  Once home she had a bottle and a super long nap.  We spent a lot of time just cuddled on the couch, which was fine with me.

Being an auntie is the best.  I wouldn't trade one hug or kiss for anything in the world.  I cannot wait to get rid of this cold so I can go see the twins.  I miss them sooo much.  I cannot wait until Saturday night when I get to babysit Chels.  My sis is taking her hubby to the rodeo for father's day and my parents are going with so that leaves me.  I'm excited as tubby time is her favorite part of the day and I've never done it all on my own.  Bring on the bubbles and the cuddles.
