Today was a great day with the twins. We enjoyed some coffee, wrote some names and just general shenanigans of toddlers. It was too hot and humid to go play outside, but we made the most of indoor play. Danyal and I even got some great one on one time. He told me my toes looked like Christmas, I asked why and he said shiny! I asked the BFF what this meant and apparently they love watching Charlie Brown Christmas and love the shiny ornaments. Makes perfect sense as I have on very glittery nail polish. It just made my day. Along with him running towards me full steam yelling HUGS! He tackled me, the BFF and her hubby at least 3 times each. It was adorable. Sara was just a sweety of a baby girl today. She warmed up to me right away and even offered to share blanky with me. This was big for her. Normally she's very shy and slow to warm up to me, today there was none of it. I cannot wait to see them again soon.
