No April Fool here

Sorry I didn't blog yesterday.  Not that anyone but my BFF cares :)  Yesterday was boring at work.  I'm pretty sure I quit working at about 5pm and that was perfectly acceptable.  Last night my cool kids group went to dinner at The Ranch.  ZOMG soooo good.  All local TX grown ingredients and beef, cooked to perfection and devoured instantly.  Our table of 7 was quiet for a good 10 min as we savored the first bites.

Afterwards we hit a local bar.  It's not fancy and H and I have gone several times.  Just good for drinks and some conversation.  Well 4 of our 7 weren't enjoying it, bitching about it being a smoking bar, and the lack of music.  They finally left about 1pm and me & my 2 favorite boys enjoyed the rest of the evening.  H is finally pulling out of his funk and Clint and I were just what he needed to cheer up.  The 3 of us have a fantastic bond and last night just continued to prove that.

Today was Sunday Funday.  Spent all day at the pool and Big Kitty and his wife grilled an amazing pork loin and veggies for us.  Beers, good friends and a suntan to start off the week.  Looking forward to next weekend's Easter dinner poolside ;)
