Today is the first time in 4 years I've been home and not traveled to or from any location!  Last year I arrived in Dallas, the year before I left Dallas, the year before I left Dallas, the year before I was in Dallas.  Do we see a trend?  So happy that won't be happening anymore :)

My parents had us all up for super fried sunday and it was awesome.  Dad busted out the turkey fryer and we had mushrooms, wings, corn dogs, onion rings and cheesecurds.  The ultimate splurge day!  Oh and mom made potato skins, deviled eggs, stuffed mushrooms, and german chocolate brownies.  The best way to splurge hands down!  The funny part is we were discussing what to fry next time and I mentioned french fries, my dad totally face palmed and said they never dawned on him.  For me that would have been my first choice.  Thankfully there'll be a next time.

As the halftime show came on Dad immediately asked if it was over.  He said he doesn't like Beyonce anymore, that whole not singing at the inauguration really got to him.  And "she's not half as hot as she thinks she is."  Who knew Steve was so down with Bey!

As the power outtage started during the game I drove home.  I even got in shoveling my driveway so it won't be a slippery mess tomorrow.  I needed the time outside and the cardio too!  Now it's time to watch what's become a decent game and try to get a good nights sleep.  I took some tylenol PM last night and got restless leg instead of a quick fall asleep.  I know I had weird dreams because I know I dreamt I just can't remember anything.  I also woke up feeling like someone had punched me on the right side of the face.  I had my rubber band in still (diagonally from top right to bottom left, sooo painful) and I must have been clenching my teeth.  It's still a little sore now.  I need to think nice soothing and relaxing thoughts tonight before I lay down!
