When I read The Happiness Project the biggest idea was to set your own rules. These are my rules, and I'm doing my best to follow them daily.
My Rules
You don't always know
Trust your gut
What makes me happy doesn't work for others
You don't have to remember if you don't lie
Put it out to the universe
You catch more flies with honey
5 min at the table makes a difference. (take your time at work)
Just because everyone else does, doesn't mean you should too
Age is a state of mind, act how you feel
Don't let others tell you what's hard. What they failed at could be your next success.
Quit procrastinating: doing it right away won't make it seem so daunting
Nothing good can happen after 2 am
