Hot!

Today I spent entirely too much time outside in the heat.  Partly due to hanging out with my parents.  They do not have central air in their home, just a window unit in their bedroom.  Thank goodness they have a lot of trees and usually a good breeze out on the deck.  They've looked into having central air put in, but it would be cheaper to just build a new house.

Mom and I went shopping for our upcoming trip to the lake.  Everyone is so excited and I'm hoping it's drama free and relaxed, well as much as possible.  Apparently my BooBoo realized today she makes the noise when she screams.  This, according to my sis, is a fun new game to play.  I guarantee this child will be how I wake up for the next 3 days.  Auntie doesn't do early and everyone else does.  At least I was smart enough to request another week of vacation after this trip, because I know I'll need to recover.

Tomorrow will be a busy day of baking, packing and having lunch with my Kati.  I'm looking forward to it.  I should get some sleep as my dad has grandiose ideas of leaving by 9am on Tues morning.  Yeah still not so sure about this.  My mom told me I can sleep on the way up, but Dad says I have to navigate.  Ummmmm he's the super trucker not me.  I cannot be counted on to be a living GPS, I will kill him!  He doesn't listen to a normal GPS let alone me.  Plus I'm sure he knows a shortcut.
