My trip to Key West was a success. I had a good time, drank many fruity frosty drinks, had some great food, excellent people watching and got some sun. Overall a good time. I have learned a few things about traveling with others that I really take for granted:
~unlike myself other people want to eat more than once a day. And Starbucks isn't a meal to them either
~I never have to pee, ever
~I hate deciding everything for everybody. I know you have opinion, please speak up or don't complain about what I pick (thankfully no one complained)
~I sleep late and stay up late, sunrise is for the birds
I really liked where we stayed and what we did, but I'm not sure I would go back. It was fun, but definitely a drinking vacation and I was with people who don't drink all that much. There were numerous touristy things to do, but I'm not huge into planning a bunch of activities. I go with the flow and spontaneously do what I want. I think it's why I've prefered Vegas. It's all entertainment all the time. It's not warm enough to lay out in November so we eat, drink and gamble. No schedules unless we choose to go to a show and that can totally be a last minute decision. Overall it was a good time and a big thank you to my mom, sissy and Sue-Bee for coming with. You made turning 35 painless.
