My family just left after 2 days together. I love them all, but my aunt and cousin are always on volume level loud. My ears are ringing and I'm not sure when it's going to stop! Plus they tell stories about people in their life that I have no clue who they are. Nor are the stories that interesting or pertinent to what we were talking about.
Yesterday was Chelsea's meet my Nana party and it was great as long as you weren't around her Nana. The woman never talks and finds Americans overbearing loud and rude. Well ya know what, we are, and we like it that way. You came to our country so get used to it. It was a good afternoon of food and fun.
My cousin spent the night with me and her parents were with my parents. I was so excited to just sit on my couch and watch the football game. I kinda got to do that. All the parents came down, we got pizza's and watched the games. My sis and her brood came over and dropped off the baby while they had one last meal together. That baby is just the cutest. She really loves her Grandma and Pepaw (the name my dad hates the most in the world). All in all it was a great day, just really loud. And I'm super thankful my sister cleaned my house before I came home. I'd have been mortified to have them all here with the state it was in.
Tonight I'm all about some quiet time. I'm going to reheat my chinese food, make a hot cocoa with some schnaaps and watch 5 Year Engagement.
Tomorrow's gonna be a busy one. Have to get an absentee ballot, renew my driver's license, go to the ortho at 12:30 then lunch with Missy and Twin Time!!! I'm so happy I get Tuesday off as well. I'm gonna need a day all to my self.
