Can you tell she's had a stomach bug all day?
I spent 6 hours driving today and my back hates me for it. I can't wait to do it all over again tomorrow, but at least my payback will be cheesecake, mashed potatoes and as many Starbucks as I want. Oh and I get to see a great friend of mine! As I was driving some funny things popped into my head.
*Preparing to go to MD this time is so different that the last. No primping and carefully planning outfits, just pick what's comfy, what shoes don't hurt my feet and I'm good to go.
*I could be home in a week. At least if all goes right on Monday I will be.
*There's a black fraternity reunion in my hotel. It's loud and crazy to get on the elevator. I'm happy to be leaving.
*Leaves changing make me hate seasons. It only brings snow, which makes me stabby.
*I wanted to baby shake everyone in traffic today. Apparently EVERYONE in Morgantown had to leave at the same time I was. Oh and add in a few coal trucks and two coach busses getting a police escort and you have me screaming at everyone, thankfully I listen to screamy music so people probably thought I was singing along.
*Last weekend was my 9 yr anniversary of this job. 9 years! I can't believe it. It also means 13.5 with the same company. Where has all that time gone?
*I could have a new job next week!
*My family still hasn't drawn names for Christmas! It's partially my fault but dang. I really want to get my shopping done soon. As much as I love the holiday I highly dislike shopping after Thanksgiving unless it's in a craft store.
*I hope I get to shop this weekend. I'm feeling the need for new shoes.
*Secretly I'm happy to see the girl I dislike at work is totally worn out from all her extra duties since our manager left. The girl is not as organized as she claims to be and really needs to work on her coaching skills. Every time I was near her office she was on the phone. She can't let anything go and I feel bad for the guys she's "helping."
*I think cheddar cheese and cracker combos might become a food group for me.
*Tonight I had dinner with a couple of the guys from work. Buffalo Wild Wings and not drinking is hard for me, but it was still a really good time. Towards the end of our time a high school football team came in. There linebacker/defensive end is one good looking kid and stacked like a mofo! As Chris said, he looks the model they put the Under Armor on at a sporting goods store. Then he looked at me and said I wonder what his abs look like, I said who cares, look at his butt. Yeah we sooo weren't on the same page there :)
Now it's bed time. I have to get a couple things done tomorrow before I leave, then it's off to have adventures with one of my favorite trouble makers!
