A small party for turning 2 is totally the way to go.  She got all the attention, lots of fun new books and toys and all the cake cakes she could eat!  She had Dora decor and piztha too.  One happy little girl and a family who loves her so much.  Oh and she calls me Bibby!  I die over the cuteness, but you have to make sure she's not asking for her baby, they sound very similar.  Being an Auntie is a pretty great feeling!

Frustrating Friday

Today has been so frustrating, not in horrible ways, but in ways that just piss me off.  I've channeled most of it into cleaning and have a pretty tidy closet and linen closet.  The rest of the house has been tidied and tomorrow I'll do a good cleaning.  I have a couple hours work to get done too.  My brain fried out pretty fast today, so it's best for me to attack with a clean mind.

My man was awesome last night, texting and being sweet.  Today, not so much.  I've received one text this morning and that's it.  When I'm in a bad mood I don't initiate because I know I'll regret it.  So now it's been 12 hours and not a word from him.  I have no clue if I will see him this weekend or not.  I'm really not dealing well with it.  It's a good thing I have no food in this house because I'd be binge eating these feelings!  Normally I'd just watch my bride shows and let it pass but tonight it's not working.  I don't even want to look at my shiny new magazines.  UGH!

Tuesday was long.  Long drive, long inspection, long night of drinking.  It was much too short on puppies though.  I could have cuddled them forever!

Wednesday was even longer, long hangover, long drive, long night of my man grabbing my boobs in his sleep.  No I'm not joking.  I kept trying to move his hand and he kept putting it back.  And I know he wasn't awake enough to know he was doing it.

Today long morning, long drive to jury duty, long drawn out trial that was just stupid and we found him guilty.

Here's hoping that's the end of all the long.  I've got my claim to reconcile and a weekend of nothing planned.  I need to pack to go to Lincoln for next week and get caught up on some studying I haven't done.  I'm hoping to see Boo and give her presents, she'll be 2 on Wednesday!  I also want some more time with my man.  I'm starting to get really attached to him and not seeing him for a week really has me bummed out.  Good thing I'll have Clint and Mike to keep me distracted with drinking.

Now it's 7:45 and I think bed is a good idea.  I had Starbucks at 4:30 and it's apparently done nothing for me, or I'm just that wiped out.  Either way it's time for jimjams and some crappy TV

• It's so cold I would like to never leave the comfort of a blanket ever again
• My man is lovely.  I watched the game with him and when I got to his house he had cheetos, a Coors light, and a Sundrop on the coffee table waiting for me.
• My job ruins everything!  I had the perfect plan to lay in my man's bed all day and watch him work when my boss volunteered my team to help with frozen pipe claims.  Driving home in -20 read -48 windchill was not ideal
• Irony: working frozen pipe claims and realizing the cold water pipe in my bathroom is frozen.  Here's hoping it thaws soon
• I'm going to work tomorrow and I'm excited about it.  Interaction with real people and cocktail time with Mike!  I just wish the high wasn't 2!
• I accomplished quite a bit today, yet one of those hasn't been packing.  I leave in less than 12 hours, haven't taken out a suitcase.  I should really go start working on that.  At least I started my work vehicle and took it for a spin around the block.  It's the small victories.

Friday = boring day.  Nothing exciting here to report.  It's cold, schools are closing for Monday in advance of how much colder it's going to get.  So there's that.  Tomorrow is my fun day.  Lunch with Sue, personal training for my computer, and a massage.  Oh and I'm going to sneak in some furniture shopping and a trip to Target.

I'm super PMS-y today and just want to scream and cuddle and eat and hit things all at the same time.  I'm so glad I get about 12 hours of this and then I'm done.  I just wish my man had been a bit more accommodating today and I was on his couch instead of my own.  I won't get to see him until Wed and even that might not be too promising because of stupid jury duty.  He thinks he'll be home Sunday to watch the game with me, but again, not getting my hopes up.  Now I'm watching Valentine's day and being all sad and sappy.  Might be time to bust out the ice cream and go crawl into bed.  Sleep cures everything right!
