Game Day's aren't holidays?

Day 4: thankful for transportation.  This Auntie is in full on daycare taker/picker upper mode!  Angel baby is soooo good in the car.  She watches her Dora, eats her raisins and plays with my piggie.  I'm sure this won't last, especially as pick up times will get earlier this week.

Tonight it's all about football.  I tried to convince Mike that we shouldn't have to work today because it's a game day.  He didn't buy it :(  Good thing I was pretty much done for the day by the time my motivation waned.

I'm going to go heat up my Buffalo Wild Wings and get comfy on my couch.  I think this game is gonna be really really good or a total snooze fest!  Either way Go Pack GO!!!!

Fall Back

Day 3: technology!  Finally found a match worth communicating with.  Not sure what will happen, but so far pretty compatible.  Similar work styles and life styles.  Only downside, lives nearly 90 min away.

Today was a pretty awesome Sunday.  Thanks to falling back I woke up at a decent time, got a crock pot meal in, a work out done, and some cleaning too.  I'm excited to watch tonight's game, my luvah JJ Watt will be playing and he makes me happy happy happy!  Having a team play on Monday really frees up my day and allows me to get a lot done.

Now it's time to search for some Thanksgiving dessert recipes.  I'm thinking pumpkin cheesecake and bourbon pecan pie.

Gratitude in November

Day 1: Thankful for my family's health.  My brother in law badly broke his leg on Halloween and now has a titanium rod in it.  The surgeon kept asking my sister what really happened because they did not believe either of them that he rolled it getting out of the Jeep.  The hospital staff kept commenting that it appeared he'd been hit by a car, not trying to get out of one.  He's home and resting now, but it's not going to be easy getting him back to 100%.

Day 2:  Thankful for good weather.  I got outside and had a nice walk this afternoon.  Plus I ran some errands without freezing and got my car washed without ice forming.

I know I should be grateful every day and I really do try to express it to those around me, but this month is extra special.  It's my birthday month, plus my bro-in-law's b-day, Thanksgiving and hunting season.  Lots of fun things to be had, so being grateful should be pretty darn easy!

11 days until my official birthday!  Yay me!

No Tricks, just lots of treats

Ummmm what chocolate?

taking some selfies

Hey YOU!  Got anymore chocolate?

Best Halloween ever?  Tonight, hands down.  Boo and I watching some Dora Halloween specials and coloring.  She finds it hilarious if I trace her hands.  She does mine but manages about 2 fingers before cracking herself up!  I even got cuddles and hugs!  And as we were rocking before bedtime she said Auntie!!!  Little moments like that make the worst day so much better!  Wuv you Boo!!
